Recruitment of Police Inspectors and Police Assistant Inspectors posts in Nepal Police towards District Police Group in accordance with inclusion provisions through open competitions has to be done, applications are invited from Nepali citizens who meet the following qualifications.
• Candidates applying for the post of Police Inspector should apply online through the Online Recruitment Management System (ORMS) of Nepal Police. To fill out the application form online, you can fill out the online application form on the Career of Nepal Police website at www.nepalpolice.gov.np or https://careers.nepalpolice.gov.np.
• Candidates who apply for the post of Assistant Inspector of Police will have to submit the application in person by submitting a ticket of Rs.10/-.
Age limit For Inspector:
- 20 years of age and not more than 25 years of age by the last date to register the application form, but not more than 35 years of age in the case of gazette police personnel of the police service participating in the open competition, and police constables or police officers must have completed basic training.
- In the case of technical police personnel, the police personnel who have been appointed in accordance with the Technical Police Regulations, 2058 existing before the commencement of the Police Regulations, 2071 (with amendments), or who have been appointed in the Technical Police Group in accordance with the Police Regulations, 2071 (with amendments) shall be Assistant Inspectors of Police for the District Police Group. If the candidates have entered the service within the prescribed age limit, they can compete for the post of police inspector in the district police group.
- In the case of incumbent police personnel without rank, according to Rule 40 of Police Regulations, 2071 (with amendments), they should not exceed 25 years.
Age limit for ASI (Police Assistant Inspectors)
- By the last date of registration of the application form, completed 18 years of age and not exceeding 24 years of age, but in the case of gazette police personnel of the police service participating in the open competition, must not exceed 35 years of age and must have completed police constable basic training.
- In the case of incumbent police personnel without rank, according to Rule 40 of Police Regulations, 2071 (with amendments), they should not exceed 25 years.
